‘Watch Me Run’’
Synopsis: Two thieves target a man who wearing a golden watch. When they try to steal the watch fails, they angrily chasing the man, leading to a series of interesting accidents during their chase……

Logline: A play with multiple tricks.

Story Beat

1. Chubby and Tall exchanged glances and identified their target—gold watch.
2. Tall tried to rob it but failed. Chubby threatens Watchguy with a knife.
Scene set in the busy city streets at night, crowded and noisey. Introduce characters: a passby wearing a gold watch and two silly-looking thieves. Trying to steal the watch but fail.

3. Watchguy turned and ran, with the two thieves chasing after him.
4. Watchguy hid under a column, Tall didn't notice him but chubby noticed.
5. While running, Chubby stole a pizza.
6. Watchguy stole the child's bicycle. He ran into a narrow road and threw it away.
7. Chubby was tired enough and he threw the knife towards Watchguy.
8. The knife fell down at Watchguy's feet. Awkward….
Fast-paced sequences shows the chaotic chasing of the situation. Quickly Transition.

9. Watchguy picked up the knife and chased after the two of them.
10. Chubby lead the watch guy towards the ‘police’. He ask police for HELP，and tell ‘police’ the watchguy has knife.
Because watchguy had to wear handcuffs, ‘the police’ took off his gold watch.
11. The police is Tall! They took the gold watch and ran away.
As a knife falls at the watchguy's feet, the chase takes a surprising turn. The tall pretend as a police ending this drama. The thieves' plan succeeds. Telling to the audience it was actually a cleverly design.
The music I choose will be a high-energy, fast-paced jazz with a strong beat. At the turning point in the beat 8 , the music will quick stop and then into the climax.

Character design
Weird-shaped, with a straight-line body, Mr. Incredible is a great example. For texture and mapping, I'll opt for a 2D style. The three characters need special features to distinguish them.
Concept design
A clear, clean looking, buildings with strong reflections, colorful vibe in the night, a 'real-realistic' environment.

Comic speech bubbles, comic frame, high-contrast visuals, 2D texture in 3D modeling.
Waiting for improve
1. The thieves rob the handbag from the watchguy in Act 1, leading the audience to believe their target is the bag rather than the watch. The tall thief throw the bag to the chubby. The chubby then throws it back to the tall for fun. But the tall mistakenly throws it to the watchguy. Eventually, chubby and tall start chasing him. The scene of the three passing the bag on the street will be very dramatic.
2. (Optional Addition) In Act 1, when the tall thief bumps into the watchguy, the chubby secretly walks behind the watchguy and puts a package of drugs in his pocket. Their cooperation is seamless.
In Act 3 When the chubby is being chased, he run toward the real police station for help, he said the wa, causing the police to hassle the man with the watchguy has knife and steal my gold watch. The intention is for the police to discover the drugs in the man's pocket.
